Investigative journalist Artan Hoxha commented on the criminal record that has begun this year, focusing on the murders of recent days, such as the mafia assassination of 30-year-old Kristjan Marku. He also spoke about the enmity between the Bardhi and Reçi tribes.
Hoxha said that unfortunately the events in Rrëshen have not been clarified since the murder of Kastriot Reçi.
" The recent events in Rrëshen and unfortunately to this day we have not had a single case solved. They have criminal activity. That's where their money comes from."
We need to differentiate between those who have entered this vortex due to personal conflicts and those who have started due to criminal activities. But for you to have people killed so close to the police station, to place a mine in the middle of Tirana, all of these are undiscovered and this is problematic.
"So far the main track is revenge because Kristian Bardhi was seen as one of the main ones from the other side who posed a danger. And they eliminated the opponent before he could attack ," he said.
Asked if this murder saga will continue, Hoxha said that unfortunately this has happened so far: after one murder, the next victim is expected.
" I have seen several cases in recent years where the solution with police at the door of the house has not yielded results. I remember the case of Aleksandër Deda in Lezha, he was guarded by the police 24 hours a day at the door and they brought him the drone and the only chance they didn't blow up the drone with explosives was that the police were standing too close and they would have been killed."
"Guarding the apartments by the police is not a solution, plus there are costs. In Mirdita alone, there are four tribes involved. The police do not have the techniques and tools that the Special Prosecution Office has, this is a series of events that should be investigated by the Special Prosecution Office ," he said on "MCN".
