The security expert and former senior head of the State Police, Arben Hajdarmataj, spoke about the serious event that shocked Shkodra this Thursday afternoon. Father and son Gjokë Gurra and his son Eduart Gurra from Bruçaj village of Pult unit of Dukagjin, were executed in an ambush.
In an interview for "Ora News", Hajdarmataj says that the murder was well thought out by the perpetrators of the drive.
"First of all, I express my condolences to the family, the incident is very serious. While with the first information that came about this murder, they had gone to see their burned apartment in the village of Bruçaj, since they lived in Shkodër. So it looks like something organized and well thought out by the authors", he said.
Regarding the treatment that the state gives to former officers who leave the State Police, the former senior police director emphasized that we are dealing with mismanagement.
"Gjokë Gurra was a former official of the State Police and this makes the incident in question even more serious, but as far as I know, his departure from the police had nothing to do with professionalism, but he left for political reasons. Including me, all my former colleagues in the State Police do not have any kind of protection or different treatment of former officers, where no one is responsible for them and nothing is known about what happens after they leave the police", emphasized Hajdarmataj .
As for today's police action with 47 arrested in Elbasan, Hajdarmataj describes it more as a campaign than an organized and continuous work.
"First of all, every police operation should be welcomed and supported. But on the other hand, this looks more like a police campaign than an organized and continuous work.
So, such an operational range requires time based on a real investigation, and starting from this, this whole trumpeted operation will end with the release of the arrested, "said the expert of the State Police, Arben Hajdarmataj.
Regarding the voluminous file of crimes in Elbasan that the main repentant Nuredin Dumani has raised, Hajdarmataj estimated that Dumani is sure that he has given something to the SPAK prosecutors.
