Criminology expert Ervin Karamuço stated that according to some data, there are secret tunnels and safe rooms in the MEK camp in Manzë.
In an interview with ABC News, Karamuço said that a week ago, the police could not control the entire camp. This, according to him, is due to the fact that there are these security rooms which must be entered thoroughly to find them.
" With the control we carried out because we encountered many clashes, on the part of some of the MEK members who were organized, the State Police was not able to control the entire camp. He also controlled those parts of the camp that were added during this time. There are reports that there are also tunnels, there are also security rooms, there are also security rooms. There are also other premises whose purpose is not yet known, why they were erected because they are not inhabited by people. For all this, this last phase of complete control of the entire camp is being undertaken. They are almost a small municipality in the territory of the Republic of Albania. They bought the land where they are, they built without permission.
I don't know why we turned a blind eye and treated them like that. They have violated all the agreements of 2014. With those 5 mistakes they made a week ago, they are on the radar of the Albanian government and the law enforcement authorities ", he emphasized.
