Iran has launched an attack after the police operation in the MEK camp. That's all it took to reactivate their attacks against the Mujahideen, who are sheltering in our country.
The Attorney General of the Islamic Republic has revealed plans to hold an "international court" to try members of the MEK.
Mohammad Jaafar Montazeri said the judicial system has prepared 700 indictments against members of the People's Mujahideen Organization (MEK), ISNA news agency reported on June 28.
Montazeri said that the court will convene soon to prosecute these individuals. He gave no other details.
On June 20, the Albanian police raided the MEK camp in Manzë and seized dozens of computers. The group is suspected of orchestrating cyber attacks against foreign institutions.
36 people, including police officers and members of the MEK, were injured and several police cars were damaged during the raid in Camp Ashraf 3. MEK representatives claimed that an elderly man died as a result of the use of tear gas by the police, but the Albanian authorities denied responsibility.
Police said the operation was carried out at the behest of SPAK, following "violation of agreements and commitments" made by the group when they settled in Albania a decade ago.
The police operation raised many doubts. The US supported the action, while there have been threats that they may leave. Iran seems to have been expecting this and will now hold trials to convict them all and then arrest them if they are deported.
