Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has stated that by January next year there will be arrests by SPAK in the ranks of Albanian politicians.
Karamuço further emphasized that the arrests may take place until the month of January and then may be interrupted due to the general parliamentary elections.
"For some politicians, the investigation continues without the charges being communicated to them, either left or right. But until December, at most in January, especially the acts and actions related to exponents of politics will be active because then they are interrupted due to the campaign, so that the electorate is not affected by the arrests that may occur. This will be postponed until after May", said Karamuço.
He also pointed out that in parallel with the process of investigations against politicians, members of the justice system themselves are the target of investigations as they may have had contacts with criminal groups.
"Parallel to the political part, we have a very hot potato in SPAK, which is the biggest trial and test. There are people who appear with names they have written who have passed the vetting.
Maybe it will never be proven that they have criminal responsibility for the things they have done, but it is proven that they have inappropriate contacts with criminal groups.
For this element we have discharged others from the vetting process. So we risk the entire vetting process from this. The media and part of the civil society know, but we want concrete actions", stressed Karamuço in the "3D" studio.
