A significant drop in temperatures is expected in the next 48 hours. According to meteoweb.eu, the extreme weather events this week in Europe are due to the inverted configuration of the "Omega Obstructor" that will affect our continent, causing bad weather both in the east and in the west.
The wave of frost and snow will hit Turkey hard, where we will see exceptional snowfall between Wednesday and Thursday. Dropping temperatures and snow are also expected throughout the Balkans in general (especially in Romania and Bulgaria) and then in Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan and the Middle East.
According to Italian meteorologists, at the same time, another large cyclone will arrive from the Atlantic Ocean and will position itself over Galicia, causing a reversal of weather circulation from Thursday, March 20, when temperatures will also begin to rise.
