The May 11 parliamentary elections are approaching and political parties, 11 formations already registered to compete with the CEC with their open and closed list candidates, are ready to campaign.
But what is lawyer Spartak Ngjela's projection for the electoral result, how does he see the two major political camps, the small parties and the candidates?
While conducting the analysis today on Report TV, Ngjela said that Rama would win the elections, even according to published polls, which is why he has drafted the candidate lists in that way, putting the senators in an open race.
Meanwhile, Berisha knows he will lose the elections, and for this reason he has included his loyalists in the safe lists, burning many other political figures.
" This is a political tendency throughout the democratic Western world, because the winner feels that he will win again, at least from the polls and seeks to create an internal evolution of figures. Let's see what they do, but I say what the political doctrine of the world is like. As for the opposition, in the state it is in and what we have seen in the last 20-30 years, in the West the opposition crises show this, they have an expired leader who is not in power to be overthrown and continues with the old inertia, this is Saliu, he has blocked it.
"But he doesn't understand that he favors the SP, but he doesn't care much because he is in a serious situation due to the accusations, even as a family, but he understands that he has no hope and has not been able to defend himself. Let's look at the trials and confiscations that will be made to Berisha and his family through judicial processes ," said the lawyer.
As for the majority camp's list and their strategy, he underlined:
" As for the majority, there is no doubt that he will win power, I am an opposition member, but the opposition is in crisis and it is created by Sali Berisha, he has lost his personality even in public. He continues with his DP fans and sticks to the fact that he is the second party. He knows that he will not win. New figures would challenge him, these others would not. If he knew that he would win, he would not appoint these figures, he would appoint new ones. But they are far from power, the polls are not going well for him. Saliu has found this path, he should have found a more eloquent one ," he argues.
But is the SP taking a risk by putting senators on the open lists? The lawyer thinks that even in the left-wing camp, things are not going so well due to internal clashes in general.
While Rama's move to bring senators to the forefront of the electorate is thought to have been made to win as many votes as possible and to test whether they still have weight.
"I want to see how they will perform in the elections, that they are not bankrupt, but will they win the elections, that is the question? He has left these as figures so that their effort will deepen the victory of the SP, that is understood. They have their phalanxes that support them, the socialists of course, and he has placed them in a row of figures through which he seeks two things, to prove whether they still have power, and if they do, to give new life to the SP. But there are external signs that there may be internal conflicts in the SP as well. I cannot say but the political dynamic goes from a partial or general moment and then goes to a specific moment ," added the former democrat MP.
In the end, he concludes with the analysis that there is no third pole that can endanger the two major parties.
"The battle is only left and right and small parties are sidelined. Politics is bipolar, it does not change, even in the West it is like this. Even in England and America, left and right, it does not change. Albanian society does not have the power within the parties to convert internal party development and so those who are will continue ," the lawyer concludes.
