Trump's invitation to the 'Peace Board', Demiraj reveals
Dritan Demiraj

Security expert Dritan Demiraj spoke about the invitation to Albania to participate in the "Peace Board", describing it as a desperate attempt to buy political legitimacy through expensive lobbying.

Demiraj explains why we are dealing with an invitation to Albania and not Rama personally.

"It is undoubtedly an invitation for Albania, for many reasons, I am mentioning the two most important ones. First, America through the invitation, through the placement of Turkey on the main board, that is, on the executive board with 11 members, as a Muslim country, and Albania as another country, that is, a member of NATO, the only two Muslim countries that are members of NATO. From this perspective, the invitation is mainly made for Albania. And here it is now worth analyzing how with the greatest shamelessness Prime Minister Rama tries to sell it to Albanians, deceiving them as if it is a personal invitation from President Trump, which comes as a result of his hard work," the colonel said.

Demiraj says that Rama is trying to "sell" this diplomatic moment to cover up internal scandals and accusations of corruption and links to organized crime.

"What Rama is seeking in all these recent months is political and moral legitimacy. At a time when the head is being sought, the head of Balluk and all his thieves in the government for robbery, for international theft of Albanian assets. So he is trying to improve his international image. An image which is an image of a thief prime minister, of an anti-Albanian prime minister, which all intelligence agencies, but also now Western chancelleries have begun to understand a little better, especially since the moment when President Trump and Secretary Rubio have publicly declared global war on governments involved in drug trafficking, i.e. narco-governments.

Rama's entire effort, at least in recent months, which you have seen since President Trump entered office, has used all his connections, all the money stolen from Albanians, all the 'think tanks', all the world personalities, one of whom is also paid, who is in the service of Edi Rama, who is former Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is part of the seven-member executive board.

"So he has tried in every way to make a meeting possible and has not succeeded for the reasons I said above. And it is precisely this that he does, which increases the importance of Albania in this case. Why is it not Prime Minister Rama, but it is simply an invitation to Albania. And he, like a hundred other prime ministers or presidents, has become part of this thanks to this access and thanks to this support that he is using in all forms," he emphasizes on 'Syri tv'.

Demiraj sees the invitation simply as a state protocol that Rama is abusing to gain time and create the illusion of invulnerability.

"Despite the fact that Rama is using this invitation to deceive Albanians, to buy hours and days in the hope that with this dirty money and drug trafficking there is no chance of escaping this. We have clearly seen it with the message and the recent actions of the American embassy that in all forms has ignored not only Rama but also the thieving ministers and the intensification of SPAK's actions ," says Demiraj.
