The new Board of Directors of Public Television decided to start the race for the Director General of RTSH from scratch. The newly elected members canceled the entire procedure carried out by their predecessors, due to the violations that the Assembly found.
The Steering Council decided with all votes of its members to cancel the procedure opened on January 6 for the election of the General Director of Albanian Radio Television. A procedure suspended on January 30 following the request of the parliamentary Media Committee.
Also at this meeting held this Tuesday, the Steering Council decided to reopen the competition with the procedures starting from scratch.
All interested parties will need to submit to the Albanian Radio Television the required documents according to the legal procedures that can be found on the official RTSH website by April 15th, and then the Steering Council will review them in a second meeting.
Also today, another important point of the meeting was the approval of the draft budget of Albanian Radio Television.
