Candidate for head of SPAK, Adnan Xholi, responding to questions from one of the members of the KLP, Vatë Staka, said that there should be a change in subject matter competence, but also an increase in the number of prosecutors.
" Changes are needed in terms of the subject matter competence of the SPAK's work, as we have a Special Prosecutor's Office that should deal with elite cases. But on the other hand, taking into account that organized crime cases, because the investigation is complex, last for years, are hundreds if not thousands of files in the hands of prosecutors, then I think we need to have an increase in the number of prosecutors in order to have quality investigations ," said Xholi. In this context, he said that there should be an interweaving between the fact that there should be a change in subject matter competence, but also in terms of increasing the number of prosecutors.
Asked what his strongest point is compared to other candidates, Xholi highlighted his 16 years of leadership experience in various offices and levels.
He said that the academic part is anti-stress.
"I'm not an expert in the field of cryptocurrency investigation," he said, answering the question of what his weakest point is.
He praised the work of both Arben Kraja and Altin Dumani. "Kraja had a long experience. He will take from both leaders the good qualities they had," said Xholi.
