Journalist Elton Qyno appeared this morning at the premises of SPAK within the framework of the implementation of the measure imposed on him with 'obligation to appear'. The measure was taken after the investigations and the operation of the Prosecutor's Office that hit Suel Çela's gang in Elbasan. Qyno together with journalist Artan Hoxha had received money from this gang.
According to SPAK, Suel Çela intended to manipulate public perception to incriminate the rivals of the Çopja group, presenting them as untouchable, with possible ties to politics. For the realization of this scenario, SPAK says that 2 journalists were used, to whom the measure "obligation to appear" was assigned.
"The push for property investigations within the OFL and the encouragement of the media to obtain testimony from individuals who could incriminate his rivals would create, according to Suel Çela, in the public opinion the perception that these rivals, due to suspected connections political, have become "untouchable". It is suspected that he has realized these goals through cooperation with journalists Artan Hoxha and Elton Qyno, who, against illegal monetary benefits, have taken positions in the media, as well as published articles and videos that misinformed and manipulated public opinion," says SPAK , it is stated in the official notification of SPAK.
Journalist Elton Qyno is accused of passive corruption in the private sector, while Artan Hoxha, in addition to the same accusation, is also suspected of being a member of a criminal organization.
