Sali Berisha's lawyer, Genc Gjokutaj, after the decision to postpone the preliminary hearing for the Partizani case, stated that they do not claim a shortened trial but the dismissal of the case.
According to Gjokutaj, the report on this case is false and this case should not go to the court for trial.
"Mr. Berisha's case is not discussed, the case for summary judgment, we look at the break, it is not our duty to explain, the report is false, the property issue. Our objections were voluminous, to explain every detail that this case should not go to the court for trial ", declared Gjokutaj.
It is worth noting that GJKKO has postponed to January 20 the holding of the preliminary hearing regarding the "Partizani" file.
It was expected that today the GJKKO would express whether or not it would accept the trial of the file where one of the defendants is the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, against whom the accusation of passive corruption has been raised. GJKKO may accept SPAK's file, return it for further investigation, or close the case.
