SPAK will question the former President of the Republic Ilir Meta tomorrow in the capacity of the person under investigation. The former president will be interrogated by SPAK tomorrow at 10:00.
Meta is accused by SPAK of three criminal offenses such as corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
More specifically, in charge of Meta is the file known as CEZ-DIA, for the benefit of monetary values in exchange for the influence exercised in favor of a telecommunications company, for consulting and lobbying contracts in the United States of America, the cleaning of products in the purchase of a house in Tirana as well as the non-declaration of medical expenses for the period 2013-2019.
MP Monika Kryemadhi, ex-wife of Ilir Meta, also has similar accusations.
In relation to Kryemadhi, the GJKKO has imposed a mandatory security measure. While Meta has been under arrest since noon on October 21, 2024.
