Many areas in the capital without electricity...

A large part of the capital has been without electricity since 8:30 p.m. Residents from several areas of Tirana report a total lack of power.

Among the most affected areas are those in Units 1 and 2, including neighborhoods such as Ali Dem, Shkozë, Tregu Elektrik, Sauk, Farkë, the "Air Albania" stadium area, etc.

The Electricity Distribution Operator (OSHEE) confirms that the cause of the outage is related to a problem in the 110 kV high voltage lines, administered by the OST.

According to official sources, work is underway to find alternative solutions with the aim of gradually supplying substations through other lines, in order to restore power to citizens as soon as possible. The New Maternity Hospital, Sanatorium and health centers are currently being supplied.

As a result, the match between Dinamo and Vllaznia, valid for the Albanian Super League and held at the "Air Albania" national stadium, was interrupted after the first half due to a lack of electricity.
