The Tirana court has sentenced the notary Majlinda Lleshi, who in February 2022 hit and raped the journalist Genci Angjellari and the operator of a television, Gert Hoxha, because of her duty, to 1 year in prison.
The case of violence against the journalist Angjellari and the reporter Hoxha was also published in a TV show, where the two media protagonists were following a case of forgery of the will, issued by the notary Majlinda Lleshi.
Due to the blows from the notary Majlinda Lleshi, the operator Gert Hoxha suffered head injuries and as a result bleeding. Journalist Genci Angjellari was also injured.
Both the journalist and the reporter then turned to the Tirana police, filing a criminal complaint against the notary Majlinda Lleshi.
Ora News has learned that the investigations were followed by the prosecutor of Tirana Naim Tota, who after verifying the case decided to take the notary Majlinda Lleshi as a defendant, for the charge of "Assault due to duty".
At the end of the trial, prosecutor Tota asked the court to plead guilty and sentence Majlinda Lleshi to 1 year in prison. Judge Vjollca Spahiu decided the same measure of punishment in her decision./ OraNews
