Divorce lawyer Roland Islami spoke about divorces in our country, but also about cases that have left an impression on him.
Invited to "Live From Tirana" with Ronaldo Sharka, he also discussed the reasons that lead to divorce, as well as the costs involved. He also told a strange story.
" Violence today is more prevalent due to infidelity. If I can tell you one case... Last year, three days before New Year's, on December 29, a lady came to my office and told me that she was going to get a protection order. I saw that there were no signs of violence and asked her why she wanted a protection order. 'I want a protection order, urgently apply for it,' she said. I applied for a protection order, sent it to the police station and she filed a complaint. They went and took her husband and put him in detention for three days for domestic violence until January 2. When I realized on the 3rd that why all this had been done, because her boyfriend had come from abroad and she wanted to spend New Year's at home with her boyfriend and kept her husband in detention. She put her husband in prison to stay with her lover on New Year's Eve ," he said.
