The Electricity Distribution Operator has reacted regarding the electricity outage in several areas of Tirana.
In response, it is explained that the cause of the power outage was one of the transformers that caught fire.
We remind you that the areas affected by the power outage are Elbasani Street, the Autotraktor Factory, Brryli, the United School, Ali Demi and the Fresku area, which have been without power for at least half an hour.
'Due to the fire in the 20kV cable channel of one of the NST Traktora feeders, today at around 13.27, the 20kV switches of the transformer were disconnected as a safety measure, leaving NST Traktora without voltage.
Measures were immediately taken to extinguish the flames, while for facilities of particular importance such as hospitals, the supply of electricity was carried out through alternative lines.
High Voltage Emergency Teams are on the ground and are working to eliminate the defect and restore electricity to all areas left without voltage as a result of the power outage.', announces OSHEE
