"Eat your friends, but not me", Bushati analyzes Rama's speech:

Journalist Andi Bushati analyzed Edi Rama's speech to the Socialist Party parliamentary group. He said that Rama's speech on justice and SPAK is an attempt to negotiate, but not with SPAK, but with internationals, as he feels the danger that could come from abroad.

Bushati said that Rama wants to tell internationals that public trust in justice reform is crumbling, but he can save and guarantee the reform.

"I saw Rama's speech as an invitation to negotiate. Not with SPAK, because he knows that SPAK will not harm him in a thousand years. He thinks that the danger lies beyond the borders. Rama said, my socialist friends called me and asked me to say that you are the one who has opened so many paths to this justice.

Then he said, "What's going on?" We have had public figures who have been supporters of the reform and today they are holding me accountable, as public intellectuals, for failing this reform. But I said, "Although I listen to them, I am convinced that we must move forward."

Rama addresses the international community, saying that in 2016 you formed a large pro-reform coalition. This coalition within the SP and in public is crumbling. I am the only guarantor who can advance your product, so protect me. This is, in my reading, Rama's invitation to negotiate. You are hitting me, you are eating my friends, but not me," Bushati said on the show "The Unexposed".
