Today it was announced that 56 students of the Security Academy in Tirana were poisoned after eating lunch the day before. Journalist Klodiana Lala, giving details about the first data about this serious event, stated that the poisoning occurred after the catering provided by the company "Sori-Al".
Lala said that this company belongs to the head of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Nikolin Jaka, and that his partner, the company's administrator, has not appeared to provide explanations.
"The students presented with symptoms similar to those of poisoning. There were suspicions that they could have been poisoned by consuming lunch. It turned out that the Sori-Al company had a catering agreement. An investigation has been launched and the police have notified the institutions. One of the students claimed that when he ate lunch, the broccoli was sour.
The entire lunch has been taken. Ms. Alma Tafani is the partner of Mr. Nikolin Jaka. The Sori-Al company has a contract with the Academy. Her apartment was searched and she was not found there. She did not voluntarily appear to give her explanations. The problem of food safety is one of the biggest problems," said Lala.
