Analyst Artur Zheji spoke about the arrest of the acting mayor of Himara Municipality, Jorgo Goro, who is accused of abuse of office.
Zheji said that Athens has chosen to remain silent due to the fact that it scored an own goal by attacking the Albanian judiciary for its political background, at the time when Fredi Beleri, the candidate of "We Win Together", ended up in handcuffs, two days before the May 14 elections.
According to him, SPAK showed that it is beyond politics and attacks corrupt actions, regardless of the political colors of the suspected persons.
"The corner that surprises me is the preparation of the file, this does not exclude the fact of what is inside the file, but the fact that it is remote-controlled with a geopolitical direction worries me. The fact that SPAK, this is also an own goal for Athens, is an own goal because now it cannot accuse SPAK and Albanian justice as selective justice. He is silent because he also scored an own goal, because he was in a hurry to take revenge. I am saying the lobbies, because I am not saying Athens because Athens is big, but the lobbies, which are interested in radicalizing the relations between Albania and Greece, since there is also the democratic fifth, which we also know.
In this view, it was proven with the arrest of Goro, that the justice was equalized by the parties and put you in prison regardless of whether you are for the Hellenization of Himara and regardless of whether your name is Gjergji or Jorgo. A Greek Hellenic minority is not being put in prison, but a suspect is being put in prison for the alienation of property. This is the case. This is a point in favor of SPAK, a losing point for the majority. The battle for the southern lands is like the American wild west.
