Journalist Mentor Kikia stated that after losing the seal of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha and Enkelejd Alibeaj will open a new political party in September.
He stated that the opposition vote in the 2025 elections will be divided into several parties, which, according to the journalist, will not enable him to come to power.
Kikia added that the SP, on the other hand, absorbed all the small allied parties, in order to make it possible to concentrate the leftist votes only on this political force.
"If you look at the political configuration, you see two realities. SP has followed a strategy to constantly absorb all allies, all small parties such as PSV, PSD, the party of Paskal Milos, etc. So it has followed a strategy to absorb the small parties and to concentrate the vote. So every vote that is not opposition, today is thrown away and goes to Rama's bag.
On the other hand, the opposition consists of a community of at least 15 political parties and vote fragmentation is not productive. I did not expect that DP would join, because during these two years many waters have flowed, many personal accusations have been formulated and the cooperation is not only political but also human.
Despite the approach of several MPs from Basha's Group, I think that Basha and Alibeaj will continue with their project and in the fall we will have another party, a new party, that of Basha. There is also that of Shehaj, there are at least 3 parties that have emerged from DP.
