The Foreign Minister, Igli Hasani, reacted after the rocket attack this morning in Israel by the Hamas militant group.
In a post on social networks, Minister Hasani writes that Albania strongly condemns the attack, adding that we remain determined against terrorism.
"Albania strongly condemns this morning's attack by Hamas against Israel. We stand firm against terrorism. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and all of Israel," said Minister Hasani.
In the early hours of the morning, the Palestinian group Hamas launched an unprecedented attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip, from the ground and from the air. In Israel, at least one dead and 15 injured were reported after a barrage of rockets fired from the Gaza Strip.
This is the biggest attack on Israel in years, a surprise attack that, in addition to hundreds of rockets being fired, armed men infiltrated Israel.
The Israeli army is "ready for war", announced the Israeli Ministry of Defense. More than 5,000 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel, the Palestinian group Hamas said.
"We have decided to put an end to all the crimes of the occupation," they said.
