Attacks by Gaza militants, Foreign Ministry: Albanians in Israel should contact the embassy!

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted to the rocket attack by Gaza militants against Israel. The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs said that it is closely following the tense situation in Israel, where according to the data so far, there are no Albanian citizens injured by these attacks.

" All Albanian citizens in Israel should follow the instructions of the local authorities and in any case contact the Albanian Embassy in Israel at the number: +972 54-4806601 ", says the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Gaza militants attacked Israel with rockets on Saturday morning. The Israel Defense Forces said it has declared a state of alert for war in response to the surprise attack from Gaza. The Israeli military has launched retaliatory airstrikes in the Gaza Strip and has warned that Hamas will pay a heavy price.

Mohammed Deif, the militant group's leader, said 5,000 rockets had been fired into Israel in what he called "Operation Al-Aqsa Storm".
