Former prosecutor and former head of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beci, spoke about the execution of 37-year-old Fatjon (Toni) Dervishi on September 26 in Sukth.
He said that the perpetrators were professionals and this is shown by the fact that the passenger, who was the friend of the victim, was not harmed.
"At first glance, referring to the data from the scene and the manner of the crime, it shows that it is not about a momentary conflict. The fact that the victim used another vehicle and the passenger was not injured shows that the perpetrator was in pursuit of their prey. What does this man represent? Here it excludes the track of a random event. So we go to the history of the victim, whether there were conflicts or not, here we come to an alarming situation. If a criminal offense begins in the Netherlands and ends in Albania, it indicates that it is related to organized crime. I want to emphasize that his brother is a character of the world of crime," former prosecutor Beci told "News 24".
While the journalist Eni Ferhati said that there are two main clues regarding this execution, the first is related to the victim's brother and the second to the victim's own past. So he said that the seizure of 40 security cameras shows that the perpetrators were skilled and professional.
"The two main clues were: because of the victim's brother, who is in prison in Spain due to a conviction, as well as Dervish's own past. He was a person registered and investigated in the Netherlands for drug trafficking. The testimonies of 7 people have strong alibis regarding Toni Dervish, I can say that 40 cameras were seized in the entire axis and the perpetrators have shown themselves to be skilled. This means that they had a good knowledge of the area. It is an event where 2-3 people are thought to have participated. This event is one of those that Albanian characters abroad conflicts with abroad and these events happen to us.
Two phones were recovered by investigators at the scene. A foreign number is registered in one of the phones. The testimony of the victim's brother may be interesting to point the finger at the people he was in conflict with in Spain," said Ferhati.
