Today, incidents were recorded in the citizens' protest on the Kashar-Thumanë axis, where several hundred residents of Krujë, Fushë-Krujë and Thumanë, blocked the road axis.
There is no response to the demands of over 80,000 residents affected by the new road.
Residents request to have access between the new road and the existing (old) road through junctions, as was foreseen in the initial project.
According to the residents, the lack of connecting nodes between the two road axes has made life difficult for the residents and is leading their businesses to bankruptcy.
The police intervened to unblock the road axis, where there were no shortage of physical clashes.
Some of the protesters appeared with national and American flags in their hands, while queues of cars were created on both sides of the highway.
The police tried to unblock the axis by moving the residents to the side of the highway by forcefully pushing them.
