A 28-year-old woman died after a surgical intervention in a private hospital.
The young woman underwent an aesthetic procedure of liposuction (fat removal) on Monday, while on Tuesday she suffered a thrombosis and passed away.
Currently, the young woman's body is in the morgue where an autopsy is being performed, while the family has reported the case to police station no. 4 for negligent medication.
According to family members, 28-year-old Irida Hasalla also suffered from a tumor in her uterus, for which she was treated in Belgium, but the doctors told her that this intervention would not affect her condition.
Meanwhile, Arenc Hasalla, the victim's brother, in a direct link to 'Euronews Albania', said that the sister should not have surgery for 7 years.
He emphasized that the 28-year-old woman was in the second year of treatment for uterine cancer.
"When a person is cured of cancer, for 7 years he should not do any kind of intervention. The sister was in her second year of cancer treatment. The disease had no cure. A man with cancer does not accept anesthesia. When she woke up in the morning, she told the nurse she wanted to go to the bathroom, she said go yourself, and the moment she got up, she fainted," said the 28-year-old's brother.
