The Albanian community in Florida was shocked a few days ago when Renato Muhaj massacred his wife of two years, Suela Saliaj, 32, with a knife.
The whole event was carried out in front of the couple's young daughter.
The representative of the Vatra association, Tasim Ruko, said in an interview in "Breaking" on Top News that the cause of the serious incident is suspected to have been the fact that the author was a user of narcotics.
"I am very good friends with Suela's father. According to Suela's parents, the reason was that Renato was a drug user and according to them, this was the reason they had been living together for two years. Suela had kicked him out of the house because he was using narcotics. She would take him home again if he stopped this habit," said Ruko.
According to him, "the boy also abused his parents at 2.30 in the night. After abusing his parents, he went to Suela because he had a key. It is not known whether it was drugs or mental problems. In Florida, the death penalty applies unless proven mental illness exists. The little girl was present when he butchered her mother with knives. Yesterday he was in a good condition."
