Journalist Andrea Danglili, while commenting on the partial elections for the Kukës Municipality, said that Prime Minister Edi Rama has sent the "heavy artillery of the north" to Kukës.
Dangli joked saying that the souls of the candidates should hurt and not the legs of the campaign walkers for the drama they have caused to that area.
"It is not that there is anything new, nor did I expect it to be. They are almost the same manuals that are mainly used in electoral campaigns where the majority candidate says that a lot of work has been done, but even more work will be done, the opposition candidate says that nothing has been done, but a lot will be done, then come the pictures with pensioners, young people, women, artists, where the promises of what will be done for Kukës are born. In fact, none of the candidates today has a published electoral program, continuing with the same practices of momentary promises where it is enough for the citizen to ask for something and the candidate promises him at the moment without a clear vision, without a budget calculation. However, they have continued their commitment, from village to village, from one administrative unit to another, from one end of the city to the other. They are obviously tired, but I believe that they should not hurt their legs but their souls because of the great drama 30-year-olds have left in this city on both sides because we are talking about a county where there is extreme poverty, we are talking about a county where the youth have fled and is fleeing to the corners, we are talking about a county that is increasingly declaring itself as a Bulgarian citizen due to extreme poverty finding support under 1 other passport. And this is painful", said Dangli. we are talking about a county that is increasingly declaring itself as a Bulgarian citizen due to extreme poverty finding support under 1 other passport. Regarding his views on the two candidates, he said that the elections in Kukës should help us to read the politics of Tirana.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, he said that Prime Minister Edi Rama gave the structures of the Socialist Party time to strengthen themselves after the scandal of former mayor Safet Gjici.
"People like ours have come out with expressions like: The biggest miracle lasts 3 days. It seems the majority gave themselves time thinking that 'The biggest miracle will not even last 3 months'. And when I say he gave himself time, I mean the fact that the elections for the Municipality of Kukës should have been held in the middle of July, but the game played in the presidency by the Prime Minister gave the Socialist Party the opportunity to consolidate power in Kukës so that the citizens somehow forgot the scenes of Gjic, where we have all seen how he showed the citizens what happens in the state offices", said Dangli.
Also, he further underlined that Prime Minister Edi Rama, in addition to MP Pandeli Majo, has chosen to take ministers Balluku and Manja, who are considered the "electoral artillery of the north", to Kukes.
