The former socialist deputy is appointed the new director of detention in Vlora

Former Socialist MP Edmond Leka has today assumed the leadership role of the institution for the execution of criminal offenses in Vlora.

The Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja presented Leka to the detention staff today as they also talked about the objectives of the institution. 

Leka was also in charge of the public services of the Vlora Municipality, but with the change of the mayor, the latter demanded the resignation of the directors, including the resignation of Leka.

As far as the custody of Vlora is concerned, Úngellush Avdulaj has resigned, explaining that he was offered another position, so he was leaving.
