Former police chief Arjan Hoxha said that one of the prosecutors currently at SPAK does not deserve that position, since in the Elbasan case, according to Hoxha, that prosecutor denied the facts that an electoral crime had been committed.
Hoxha said that he personally had facts on his phone, but instead of them being taken into account, an arrest warrant was issued against him at that time, causing him to stay in jail for four days.
" I told him on my phone how the electoral crime happened on the night the incident happened. He saw it and with the greatest impudence he went to the media and said there were no electoral materials. Should that prosecutor be in SPAK? How can that prosecutor be? This is no small thing, it is an electoral crime and changes the course of events. The prosecutor saw the cold weapon, the electoral list, compromising materials, the identity card and came out and said there were no electoral materials, this is not lynching, this prosecutor will guarantee us elections in 2025. Can he check it? I was there and I had no place to say these things because that prosecutor issued a restraining order against me and I spent 4 days in prison that the court called illegal ," said Arjan Hoxha on "Now with Erla Mëhillin".
