"It was the second amnesty", the journalist: SPAK double standard with

Journalist Eni Ferhati called the security measure "obligation to appear" granted by GJKKO a second amnesty for former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj.

Invited to the "Review" show, Ferhati said that in the falsified decision of GJKKO in August, when the first security measures for sterilization were given, the court asked SPAK to further investigate the former minister Beqaj.

He added that with "Abuse of duty" Beqaj could receive a very light sentence of up to two years in prison, at a time when GJKKO asked to be investigated for corruption as well.

Ferhati said that the case of Beqaj was followed by a double standard since for similar cases the security measure "Arrest with prison" was given.

" I expected a heavier security measure. I expected that I have read the whitewashed decision. Today, Ilir Beqja is accused only of Misuse of duty committed in cooperation. While the court says extend the investigations further. He risks 1 to 2 years in prison, which is the margin for this criminal offense based on the punishments received by former high officials. What did Ilir Beqaj waste his office for, just for fun?! Did he waste it out of ignorance, or for other reasons?! Logic says that he squandered it to have potential benefits, when it comes to a concession with such great values. Therefore, I am looking at a second amnesty for Mr. Beqaj with this criminal proceeding. They are rare decisions of judges who tell SPAK, look, there is more room, or you were wrong about the criminal facts ", said Ferhati.
