Journalist Giorgio Mottola of the Italian public broadcaster RAI3 conducted an investigation in Tirana a few weeks ago, which was broadcast last night.
Part of the Italian journalist's interviews was Eugen Beci, former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes. But parts of his interview did not make it into the Italian documentary.
Beçi said in the studio of the show "The Unexposed" that they talked about crime, justice reform and the immigration agreement.
"Part of the conversation was organized crime between Albania and Italy, the failure of the Justice Reform and the Albania-Italy agreement on refugees. Organized crime was the subject that is covered on our televisions every night. The justice reform turned out to be tainted by the way the laws were drafted. As well as the agreement between the two countries for immigrants and the decision of the Constitutional Court of Albania.
I could not tell the Italian journalist my doubts about how I was dismissed from the vetting. I was able to understand where he wanted to go. The documentary has collected data to handle the synchros. He has touched three wounds: crime, justice reform and the Rama-Meloni agreement for immigrants ," said Beci.
