The Italian investigative journalist confesses: I have evidence of Olsi
Giorgio Mottola

The Italian journalist emphasized that Angel Agaçi has a leading role in the migrant agreement, but also has an extraordinary power in Rama's government.

The Italian journalist, who carried out the investigation on the Rama-Meloni pact, has spoken in the Albanian media.

Giorgio Mottola, revealed how he arrived at the investigation that has shaken the foundations of Edi Rama's government.

According to him, it certainly started from the Albania-Italy protocol that surprised everyone in Italy.

" Suddenly we discovered that Albania and Italy had signed an agreement that would divert a part of the immigrants to your country. And this is an agreement that not only has a value for Italy, but also at the European level because, as the PPE declared during the last congress, this Albanian model, that is, the model of resettling immigrants to third countries, can also be used by countries the other. So we are in front of an epochal turning point ", he said.

The Italian journalist emphasized that Angel Agaçi has a leading role in this agreement, but also has extraordinary power in Rama's government.

" I would say that Agaç has absolutely a central role in this whole event. I do not say this, says an important exponent of Rama's government, Taulant Balla. From the moment I came to Albania, I realized that beyond Edi Rama, there was a very central figure, which is Engjëll Agaçi. I started researching it and a whole world opened up. Because then I discovered that Agac's power and authority within the Rama government has a central role, especially his relations with Italy are rooted ", said the journalist in an interview for "Syri Tv".

According to him, this agreement has come in a suspicious and dangerous background as Agaçi has been the lawyer of important crime bosses.

" From these investigations, some aspects emerged that none of us knew, because even in Italy, the conditions of how this agreement was reached have remained completely confidential. Because we know that Meloni met with Rama in August, but we don't know who participated in these negotiations. We were sold as if Albania was doing a favor to Italy, so we were sold the tale of the charity.

Then we found out that we were dealing with an agreement that does not solve anything for the immigration problem in Italy because last year we had an influx of 150 thousand immigrants, while only 3 thousand will come to Albania, at least for the moment ," he said.

Furthermore, the journalist discovered that thanks to Agac, the mafia bosses were easily extradited to Albania, despite the fact that they had received 20-year sentences in Italy. According to him, this has caused him to be monitored by the Italian Antimafia.

" But Albania's role in this agreement is even more understandable. That is, on the day of relations between Italian and Albanian criminal organizations, everything becomes clearer. We can also see what was the role of the lawyer Agaçi in Italy, who was the lawyer of the most important bosses in Italy, who secured a special treatment. We found out that there were alerts from the magistrates and the anti-mafia about how Italian mafia bosses were easily extradited to Albania, despite the fact that in Italy they had received sentences of 20 years, when they came to Albania they served only two or three years or a few months and then left free. So we were surprised when we found out that the lawyer of these bosses was Agaçi ", said the journalist.

The journalist said that there is absolutely evidence for what he says about Agac. According to him, the history of the agreement on the pact of immigrants can become dangerous. On the other hand, he also exploded the bomb about Olsi Rama.

He says that the name of Edi Rama's brother, as someone connected to the drug cartels, was given to him by the Italian magistrates.

" From the court documents, it's not that I found them, but the magistrates found the names. It is a name that was mentioned to me at the beginning of the investigation. Some magistrates, who have worked for years in Albania, had referred to the relations of Edi Rama's brother with some entities belonging to drug cartels.

Then in Albania I found confirmation of these statements, but I have always been reluctant and afraid to mention names related to the family of Prime Minister Rama.

And then I managed to find the documents and in my opinion there are no misunderstandings, they clearly show Olsi Rama's relations with these subjects who have been convicted of drug trafficking.

The observation that has worried me the most is that the name of Olsi Rama has not been mentioned at all in the investigations ", said Giorgio Mottola.
