Journalist Artan Hoxha has praised the election of Joni Keta as head of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH), saying that he is the perfect person for this position.
Hoxha said that Joni Keta is well aware of the work and cooperation that should exist between the BKH and the structure of the Prosecutor's Office.
Hoxha said that he encountered Keta when he was a Judicial Police officer and had also investigated the journalist. But according to him, this does not prevent him from being promoted as worthy to head the BKH.

I thought it should be a person who I cannot say I lobbied for, but I have supported and promoted this very person, Joni Keta. His father is a senior prosecutor with a lot of experience. Joni himself has his own career in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office. I met him there. For the first time I met him as an investigator. He was an investigator, he was an officer of the Judicial Police who investigated me personally. So, in addition to other circumstances that I know from my family. In the case when my phones were taken away in 2016, the person before whom I gave statements until 4:00 in the morning was Joni Keta.
In the other case, in the case under investigation that is at my address, he is also the Judicial Police officer who was in the search of my apartment. In the statement session that I had at SPAK, it was Joni Keta. But, this does not prevent me from promoting and publicly declaring that one of the people who had all the parameters was Joni Keta. He also knows SPAK, he is the right person to do this. Up to this moment, I think that the choice of Mr. Joni Keta is a very good solution for me, maybe perfect, and he is a person who knows the job well, knows the cooperation that should be between the BKH and the structure of the Prosecutor's Office. I believe that they have found the perfect person to do this task. How will it go, we will be here and we will see. But, I think that the choice at this moment is very good, unassailable and a man that I have confidence in that he does and meets all the criteria to do that task best. Because I know him in concrete matters, he has investigated me himself. I think that he deserved to be where he is and fortunately he was chosen. I say that it is a very good choice.
