Investigative journalist, Artan Hoxha has given details about the alienation of about 45 hectares in Spitalle in Durrës, for which some former Cadastre officials have been arrested in the coastal city.
Hoxha stated in the show "The Unexposed" that former officials alienated the property by selling it to private individuals. He said there are many other cases across the country and the US has requested an investigation into the property files.
" There are 45 hectares, near the University of Durrës. It is state property. Taking advantage of the fact that they were mortgage officers, they had the opportunity to alienate the property to be sold to private individuals.
SPAK has a series of files for mortgage offices from Saranda to Velipoja. SPAK's strategy is that in addition to theft and alienation of property, elements of crime or corrupt officials are involved here.
SPAK says that the delay in the investigations of these files is due to the fact that they do not have experts for these types of crimes and they need people who know finances and documentation.
Allies such as the USA have requested an investigation into the lands and properties, which is also a request from the EU. In Durrës there were officials from the Cadastre. They are officials who are related to the SP, Re-establishment and Basha ," said Hoxha.
