Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu spoke about the monitoring of the elections by the Special Prosecution Office, SPAK. He said that SPAK's presence in monitoring the May 11 elections is the only hope that there will be no manipulation in these elections.
"When the OSCE proposed electronic counting for the diaspora, Tirana and Fier as two of the largest regions in the country, there was an intervention by the opposition that requested that there be a counting with a commissioner and then it was announced that the diaspora would also be counted by the old parties. They are clear that there is a plan here to divert the vote, if not to change the winner with the loser, to affect the vote of parties that do not have a commissioner. The PD comes out saying they stole from us, that there is a commissioner there. But if there is a concrete step that should be supported, it is the presence of SPAK in the CEC to stop interference in the vote," Karamuço told "Abc News".
