Vlora Cadastre is permanently closed, employees who are not transferred are

The Vlora cadastre has been finally closed.

This Monday, the decision to transfer the structure to Tirana and Fier came into effect despite strong opposition from employees and citizens.

Some of the staff has been relocated to Tirana today, while another part has been transferred to Fier.
According to sources, employees who have not accepted either of these two options will be dismissed.

Meanwhile, there are still several employees in the office, who are preparing the final files for the transfer to Tirana, thus marking the final closure of one of the most important institutions for the city of Vlora.

Prime Minister Edi Rama also reacted yesterday to the merger of the Vlora Cadastre.

In his podcast "Flasim", Rama described the merger of the cadastre as misinterpreted information, causing tension and unnecessary discussions, according to him.

Although the cadastre was merged without a clear announcement and motive, for Edi Rama this is something that should not be discussed, while he has warned of the merger of all offices in the districts.

"A few words about the relocation of the Vlora Cadastre office to Tirana. The physical address of the office was deliberately or idiotically confused with the service for citizens. The Cadastre Agency has long since moved from a primitive service model with counters and queues to an online model that has not yet fully closed its cycle, but in any case, through the E Albania platform, this model enables most procedures to be carried out without the need for a physical presence at a counter. Everything is followed online," said Rama.
