The Special Court has reconfirmed the security measure of "prison arrest" for Zambak Gjon, former director of IKMT in Shkodra, on charges of leaking data that are considered secret. This Saturday, at the request of prosecutor Bledar Maksuti, the black squads decided to continue the arrest measure for Gjon, two days after his arrest and detention in the security block.
It is learned that SPAK has not issued a statement on this case, while the defense of the arrested person is reserved to provide details. We recall that Zambak Gjoni last year denounced the current Minister of Interior Ervin Hoxha for abuse of office in connection with an unauthorized construction in Shkodra.
He claimed that organized crime entities had intervened at the IKMT, which was headed by Hoxha at the time, to prevent the building from being demolished. Gjoni had until recently been the director of inspections at this inspectorate.
