The repentant justice Nuredin Dumani has become one of the most important assets in the hands of Albanian justice.
His ongoing testimony about crimes that have occurred in recent years has shed light on events that had not been solved by the police.
Top Channel journalist Anila Hoxha, invited to "Top Story", read Duman's card, which states that he only had 3 months to live in order to avoid serving his sentence.
Hoxha said that this event occurred in 2014, while adding that SPAK is expected to ask the Tirana court for more information about Dumani's release during that period. Among other things, the journalist said that there will be additional actions by the prosecution.
" Nuredin Dumani has the status of a repentant of justice. Yesterday I requested a decision from the Tirana Criminal Court on how Nuredin Dumani was arrested in 2014 due to a report made by a resident of Bulqiza. He told how he only spent 6 months in detention. He exposed other names, he singled out the minister by name. He told how he was released according to a scheme where he was provided with a passport, certificates that described him as a person in an unstable condition. So serious that he would only live for 3 months. In the subsequent session, additional explanations were requested on who the specific people were who assisted in granting him freedom. He said that one of the people was the son-in-law of Nasip Naço's brother.
This citizen has been moved from the pre-trial detention hospital and has been released. These are circumstances that will need to be investigated. SPAK is expected to request the Tirana court with a request for the accusations made by this citizen, the circumstances and other information. There will be additional actions by the prosecution ," said Hoxha.
