Chaos on the road axes in the Lezha Region, turning them into a nightmare for vacationers and residents of the area.
Especially today, traffic jams have been reported almost every hour of the day, and it even took drivers 2 to 4 hours to travel 15 kilometers of road.
Kilometer-long lines of cars have been created, similar to those reported at the land borders with Greece, whenever the Greek side closes its counters or works with reduced staff.
Reports indicate that the Fushe-Milot roundabout is the most problematic point, as the highest flow of vehicles, coming from Kosovo and Tirana, is concentrated here.
While the thermometer today has marked 40-41 degrees Celsius, citizens, including tourists, have had to stand in traffic for hours. This situation is not accidental, not even for one day, but a situation that is created in every tourist season and no one provides a solution.
Such a load or such a flow of movements has even overwhelmed the traffic police. The latter has been present at several points that they consider strategic, but it seems that they have not found a solution.
And if there is no such thing, then thousands of citizens who need to travel on the Laç-Lezha axis should consider that they could be stuck in traffic for another 4 or 5 hours, wasted time that no one will compensate or give back to them.
