Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has spoken about the murder of 33-year-old Ramazan Mataj in Shkodër.
He said that we are not dealing with a sophisticated murder, but the traces left behind by the perpetrator were visible. Karamuço said that the victim was ambushed by a fake profile on Instagram.
The expert said that the circumstances of the event are weak, as they come for issues of honor, family and attempts to break certain family relationships that have remained only in virtual communications.
"Of course, any murder due to the areas and customs can lead to revenge and blood feud, but here is the regulatory state with the detection and placement of the perpetrators before responsibility, but also the necessary measures. In the present case, we were not facing a sophisticated murder.
An area without cameras was chosen, but many traces were left, such as film on some axes during the departure, but also technological traces. Two months ago, the meeting of Minister Ilir Prodëss and the regional envoy for the Meta applications that include Facebook and Instagram went unnoticed by the media, and there was an agreement on the investigations involving these applications in serious criminal offenses.
