The request for changing the security measure, GJL examines the recourse of Berisha and Malltez today

Today in the Supreme Court in the Counseling Chamber, the decision will be given on the appeal of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, who asked for a change in the security measure 'house arrest'.

The decision will be given by judges Ilir Panda, Sandër Simoni and Sokol Binaj. A schedule has not yet been set as to when the three-member panel will make the decision, for which Berisha's lawyers had previously asked to be excluded from judging the case.

The latter's defense claims in its request that there are no conditions and criteria for Berisha to be investigated with security measures.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Berisha announced that he had addressed the Strasbourg Court on the issue of the arrest measure.
