This Monday, April 27, the meeting of the High Prosecutorial Council has begun, focusing on the report of the head of SPAK Klodian Braho on the work of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure.

Present at the session is the head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, who is accompanied by Vladimir Mara, head of the section against organized crime and terrorism, Dorina Bejko, head of the section against corruption, and the head of the National Bureau of Investigation, Joni Keta.

During the report, Braho is summarizing the results of SPAK's work for 2025, a period when the institution was headed by Altin Dumani. He noted a significant increase in the volume of work, emphasizing that compared to 2024, the indicators have almost doubled.

"Compared to 2024, this ratio has almost doubled," he emphasized, referring to the volume of cases and the effectiveness of the investigation.

According to him, 870 criminal proceedings were registered last year, while guilty verdicts account for about 87% of the total.

Braho also emphasized that the security measures "arrest with imprisonment" have decreased compared to the previous year, while the number of appeals to the Special Anti-Corruption Court has also been significantly reduced.
