Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited this evening to Top Story, has recounted the difficulties of being a journalist in our country, and mainly when covering crime stories.
She spoke about the armed attack that took place several years ago at her parents' apartment, where her two minor daughters were also present.
She said that even 3 years ago she still received threatening messages, mentioning the girls.
"It is one of the most difficult moments of my life, because in my parents' apartment there was my only brother, and my two little daughters. One of the shells has not been removed even today, it remains at the head of my brother's bed. I have no doubt that that attack was related to my profession. It is difficult for me to talk about that event.
Some time ago I referred to it, in fact, I was shocked by a message that mentioned my daughters, about 3 years ago, it is something that is being investigated.
I remember a case when Chief Commissioner Adem Tahiraj was killed, I was in the last days of pregnancy and my television machine was far away. I was reporting and at that moment it started raining terribly.
The police came to me and told me to please not stay at the checkpoint. At that moment, Anila Hoxha grabbed me and told me 'leave this damn job and get in the van' and put me inside, and that's when I realized I had been bad," said Lala.
