The KLP has not taken any position. It has not even said a word about the "head" of this scandal, Olger Eminaj.
The KLP has been asked to react to the sexual scandal that has involved this institution, after its member Olger Eminaj sent a complainant a photo of his sexual organ and had conversations with sexual content, during working hours and within the premises of the institution where he works.
The scandal was published yesterday evening by the investigative show "Stop", where messages were revealed as Eminaj asks the Macedonian citizen for cocks, sex toys, and even gossips about his colleagues.
Regarding the case, KLP has not taken any position. It has not even said a word about the "head" of this scandal, Olger Eminaj. In the statement, it attempts to wash its hands of it, "passing the ball" to ILD, where according to them, disciplinary measures are taken by them.
"The High Prosecutorial Council (KLP) has followed with concern the content broadcast during the investigative show "Stop", on Monday, 23.03.2026.
In the context of institutional transparency, the KLP informs that the complaint filed by the citizen has been forwarded for treatment and jurisdiction to the Tirana General Jurisdiction Prosecutor's Office, according to all legal provisions.
Regarding ethical and disciplinary issues involving members of the Council, Article 104 of Law No. 115/2016, “On the governing bodies of the justice system”, provides that any claim for disciplinary violations against members of the KLP is subject to the exclusive competence of the High Inspector of Justice and further to the Constitutional Court.
In the interest of fair information to the public and the media, we emphasize that the matter is being fully verified by the competent institutions, in order to uncover the truth. Therefore, the High Prosecutorial Council will cooperate closely with all institutions, with the aim of handling this matter objectively, impartially and in accordance with the law.
"The High Prosecutorial Council guarantees that beyond certain situations, efforts will continue to maintain institutional integrity in meeting accountability standards in the exercise of public functions." - the full statement of the KLP states.
This case is not just another scandal but a serious test of the very functioning of justice institutions and their ability to react to abuses within their ranks.
