The Conference of Presidents voted today only with the votes of the majority to set up a special commission for Disinformation.
The head of the Union of Journalists, Aleksandër Çipa, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that there is a lack of information regarding such an initiative, which came politically from the socialist majority.
According to him, the media should be alert to such initiatives, as the previous experience of initiatives related to the media coming from the government have been to their detriment and have been opposed.
" The media, in their nature, should remain vigilant against such initiatives, as there have been initiatives before, such as the one for the inclusion of regulatory legislation for new media, such as the one for the so-called law on electrical trade, and after the opposition of the local and international media there was an attempt to change this approach to give attributes to the AMA to get attributes also in the field of new media, mainly online ", said Çipa.
