On December 19, 2022, the famous trio of the vetting commission, Suela Zhegu, Etleda Çiftja and Alma Faskaj, dismissed the judge of Tirana, Majlinda Dogga, ignoring the numerous evidences of abuses of office, corrupt assets from shopping with court decisions and connection with exponents of the underworld.
But, to this clientelistic decision and in serious violation of the Constitution and vetting law, the Albanian Committee of Helsinki reacted, which through an official report, documented the abuses of Judge Majlinda Dogga and the concealment of facts by the judicial vetting body.
In the report, which the Albanian Helsinki Committee has drawn up and submitted to the US and EU Embassies, it is stated that the vetting investigation for the subject of the re-evaluation, Majlinda Dogga, judge of Tirana, has positively passed the re-evaluation for wealth, figure, professional skills and the application of the law during the exercise of the duty, when it is "soot" in the 3 criteria.
The report on the criterion of corrupt wealth and illegality of decisions took the main part of the vetting for judge Majlinda Dogga, according to the reports of the ILDKPI, the Directorate of Classified Information, the Judicial Council, the Prosecutor's Office and citizens' denunciations.
According to the report of the Albanian Committee of Helsinki, unlike the data of the investigative and law-enforcement institutions, which have presented "amber" to the "scum" judge Majlinda Dogga, it has been established that there are no legal sources for her assets and bank accounts.
More specifically, her husband Dhimitër Dogga, a physical education teacher in Vorë, has declared assets, bank accounts and financial transactions that do not match his official income, and even added to them after retirement.
While the daughter, Erinda Dogga, former head of the sector in the Municipality of Tirana and now head of the Directorate of Road Transport of Albania, has circulated large financial values in cash outside the banking system; even one of the facts is that the judge's husband bought a car from a person tried criminally by judge Majlinda Dogga, at the time when he was in the trial process and was declared innocent.
The Albanian Committee of Helsinki found and reported that 210 complaints were made to the vetting commission for judge Majlinda Dogga, for serious abuse of court files, of which only 33 files were submitted for investigation, and these were removed from the vetting process.
But the vetting judicial body did not deal with the abuses of these court files, where there were decisions, where it is proven that the judge Majlinda Dogga has favored exponents of the world of crime, thieving officials, property robbers, murder, rape and drug trafficking.
In order to save Judge Majlinda Dogga from dismissal, the body of the vetting commission was ordered by the political, oligarchic and criminal circles and postponed and gave the decision illegally on December 19, 2022, leaving her in office with the concealment of evidence./ Pamphlet
