Analyst Fatos Lubonja has commented on the Congress of the Socialist Party that will take place on December 8.
He said that it is not that anything new will be expected, but according to him we will see some new ties from those designed by Rama.
In an interview for "News 24", Lubonja stated that "the state of the opposition is a symptom of a disease, the cause of which is the majority that has worked to extinguish every breath".
Lubonja: I remembered an old story; it was the time when the SP had just taken power and Nano was the prime minister and Rama was trying to enter politics and he told me, look, this is like the party of the Democratic Party. He said to do a reflection 2 because he had once done a reflection 1 with Ardian Klos. These 2 reflections were made at the Academy and Nano was also invited. It is likely that this Congress now replaces reflections 3. Maybe! Because it is always the totalitarian mind that everything belongs to me. Rama says I am not a part, I am the whole. The Socialist Party is a part. But the state parties like this one are the party of the people and in this aspect it seeks to take this as well, as it tries to take the persecuted.
But what will the SP congress bring?
Lubonja: We will see some new ties from those designed by Rama. Decision making in Albania is not made there. Imagine, a few days ago, the SP proposed to expel him from the European Socialist Party, the Italian left proposed it, and this should be a problem for the party because it does not represent those values. Have you seen anyone react? When we say Ed, we mean the party, and when we say the party, we mean Ed.
Here we are in the mindset of the party state. Even Berisha, when he took power, did not hold a dialogue in parliament. He made his own decisions without asking the minority. This is called the tyranny of the majority. The train that decides for Albania is the ruling party or the state party, perhaps it is better that no one asks. Why has the world created opposition?! Rama has opened the highway here and they are walking, while those of the opposition are walking on the sidewalk on the side. The leader who is holding back the breath is the majority and Edi Rama at the head. When you are faced with an organization that will never give you anything, what do you say? Here, without a doubt, we need to think long and hard about how to blame the opposition and not deal with the cause. The state of the opposition is a symptom of a disease, the cause of which is the majority that has worked to extinguish every spirit. This is the big problem, not the opposition, why doesn't the opposition unite.
