Lawyer Arben Llangozi has spoken about the possible dismissal of the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari.
According to the lawyer, Hajdari will most likely be fired on Tuesday, as he submitted a forged form where he hid the fact that he was convicted by a final decision of the Court of Ioannina, for illegal border crossing.
According to the lawyer, the falsification of documents is a repeated criminal offense by the mayor, so he adds that his dismissal from this post will be quick.
"In the current case, we refer to other similar cases, such as the mayor of Shkodra who won but was not mandated, we also have the case of Mr. Roshi, Elvis Roshi, the mayor of Kavaja was convicted in the Italian state, then he was arrested and criminally prosecuted there the same conditions as Mr. Hajdari and then he was fired.
We are not faced with the fact that we have a condition prohibiting Mr. Hajdari's candidacy or not, but we are faced with the fact that Mr. Hajdari submitted a forged or invalid form in the sense of the decriminalization law, thus committing the criminal offense of falsifying the form ", said the lawyer for "Euronews Albania".
