"Partizani"/Jamarbër Malltezi demands freedom, submits to GJKKO the additional complaint

The lawyers of Jamarbër Malltez have submitted to the GJKKO Appeal the addendum to the appeal for the revocation of the security measure.

The son-in-law of former prime minister Sali Berisha is behind bars as he is being investigated for the Partizani case.

It is also expected that the same appeal will be made by the lawyers of former Prime Minister Berisha in the investigation for the charge of passive corruption for the privatization of the former Partizani complex in Tirana.

GJKKO, in the session of November 8, rejected the request of Jamarbër Malltez for extinguishing the security measures.

" Rejecting the request of the applicant/person under investigation Jamarbër Malltezi, with object: "Determining the loss of the power of the coercive measure "prison arrest" set according to decision no. 112, dated 20.10.2023 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, against Prof. Dr. Jamarbër Malltezi.", as not based on the law," the decision states  .
